Why Your Body Doesn't Obey (and Why That's Good News)

Have you ever noticed that the more you try to relax... the more tense you become?

You lie in bed and say to yourself:
“Relax. Come on. Relax.”

And what happens?
Shoulders rise.
The jaw clenches.
The tension is growing.

It's the same with sleep.
The more you try to fall asleep, the more awake you are.

Now, an honest question:

Do you do the same with your body?

Problem: You become a dictator of your body

Most people approach the body as a machine that needs to be controlled.

Commands:
– “Don’t eat that.”
– “You need to lose weight.”
– “Gather yourself.”
– “Why aren’t you working?”

When the body doesn't obey, frustration sets in.
When overeating occurs again, guilt sets in.
When energy runs out, pressure comes.

You become a little dictator in your own body.

But the body is not a machine.
And he's not your subordinate.

Secret #1: You do not have a body — you are the body

Your heart beats without your control.
Your immune system works without your decision.
Your cells renew themselves without your “discipline.”.

This means one thing:

The body already knows what it's doing.

The problem is not in the body.
The problem is the idea that you have to lead it.

What happens when you understand this?

When you stop being the “boss,” a shift occurs:

  • less internal conflict
  • less tension
  • more regulation
  • more body confidence

And most importantly:

the body begins to cooperate.

The first step (simple but crucial)

In the morning, before you get up:

Take 30 seconds.
Feel the body.
And admit it:

“The body worked for me all night.”

This is not a technique.
This is a change in attitude.
